Virtual Democracy, Community and Me

Turn your classroom into a hub of democracy with this live and interactive virtual incursion!
Take your students on a deep dive into how local government shapes communities. This interactive virtual incursion explores how rules and laws are made and the role of local councils in everyday life.
Through an engaging session, students unpack the difference between rules and laws and see how decision-making at the local level directly impacts their community.
We remotely facilitate a mock local government election, where students step into the roles of candidates and voters, experiencing preferential voting and absolute majorities.
After the virtual session, we provide everything you need to continue the learning. With ready-to-use resources, you can run your own local government meeting and debate right in your classroom.
This incursion makes civics interactive, engaging, and relevant for students of all ages. Book now to bring democracy straight to your screen!
